Woman sexually assaulted at bus stop in Brentwood

Police are appealing for witnesses after a young woman was sexually assaulted at a bus stop in Brentwood.

The woman, who was in her 20s, was assaulted at the bus stop in Shenfield Road at around 12.15am on Friday, June 29, 2012.

The man responsible is described as white, 5ft 10in tall and aged in his late 40s to early 50s. He is of stocky build and has a square face, a flat nose, blue eyes, close shaved hair and a stubbly ginger beard.

The man was also wearing a diamante stud earring in his left ear, a black or navy hooded top with a white emblem on, blue jeans and black Nike shoes which were not trainers.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers from the Sexual Offences Investigation Team at Brentwood on 101.
