28 day enforcement notices served

Officers from Essex Police accompanied representatives from Basildon Borough Council at the Dale Farm travellers’ site in Crays Hill on Monday, July 4, 2011 while 28 day enforcement notices were served to residents on the illegal part of the site.

Essex Police officers were there to prevent any breach of the peace.

Residents should be advised that the issuing of the notices does not mean any enforcement action is imminent.
