Public Confidence

Essex ranks in the top five forces in the country for low levels of anti-social behaviour perceived by the public.

The Government has set every force a target to raise public confidence in the police and the local council dealing with anti-social behaviour and crime issues locally. This is monitored by means of the British Crime Survey and a new local confidence survey.
